I went to Meijer this morning to score some amazing deals!
I am so excited about what I got!
This is how I did it:
2 bags Chex Mix - $0.99 ($4.58 regular price)
- $0.50/2 coupon which doubles to $1.00
= $0.49 ea.
2 bags Dole Salad - $0.99 ($3.98 regular price)
- $1.50/2 coupon
= $0.48 FOR BOTH or $0.24 ea.
2 packs Archway Cookies - $0.99 ($5.74 regular price)
- 2 $0.55 coupons which doubled to $1.00
= FREE
19 packs Archway Cookies - $0.99 ($5.74 regular price)
- 19 $0.45/1 coupons which doubled to $0.90 ea
= $1.71 FOR ALL 19 or $0.09 ea.
So, my Total OOP (out of pocket) = $3.17
My total Savings = $65.66
The hard part about Meijer is that they will only double 2 coupons per transaction, So.. To make this deal work I had to make 11 different transactions! Splitting all the cookies up to buy two at a time. I takes longer, but it all worked out nicely!
I had to let three other customers check out in front of me before continuing my purchases so as to not make them wait. One man just glared at me. You would think he would have been happy I stepped aside instead of making him wait for me. Oh well, I just kept thinking of the amazing deal I was getting and kept on smiling!
